I have noticed that when Guinness is outside (and it is a sunny, warmish day) he tends to get watery eyes. This does not seem to bother him, however, to me it looks nasty.

Is it possible that cats can get hayfever?
If his eyes are watering a lot I tend to bathe them gently with some tissue in luke warm water, then he is fine again till next time.

This is not something that happens on a daily basis either, just occasionally.

Cheers

Cats can have an allergic reaction to things in the environment and their eyes will water. If they aren't watering all the time, I would just keep an eye out to make sure there isn't something else going on.
