Mine have been picky lately too. I bought a case of Precise Turky Foundation, and they decided not to eat it at all. I also bought several cans of Merrick's Turducken, which they liked for a while, but again, they turn their noses up at it now. I talked to the people at the pet store, and they suggested rotating several foods. That way, they may not get their favorite every day, but they won't get tired of them as quickly. I've discovered that mine will currently eat Felidae, Merrick's Grammy's Pot Pie, a couple of Natural Balance foods, California Natural Chicken and Brown Rice, and Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul. I also offer them some dry since I'm gone for at least 9 hours per day (working and commute) and sometimes up to 11 hours or more. I know that Merrick offers a variety pack of their foods, which might help you find something your kitty will like. Or, you could just go on a shopping spree buying one of everything that looks to be a good food from the pet store.

I'd also add Nutro to the list. Some of the flavors in the small (3 ounce) cans have gravy. Our cat has now decided he likes Pinnacle canned food. If your cat likes tuna, the Solid Gold canned has a nice smell and texture for picky cats.
I'd definitely rotate, or serve several different brands. Our cat insists on a lot of variety, and he's never had any adverse effects from eating a number of brands. A lot of cat nutritionists are now recommending it, too.

ya i think rotating would be agood idea..ill check out some of the foods you guyts listed..he hates any caned food that is not ground or that you can see the bits of chicken or whatever it might be which is the reaosn why he loved the little pro plan cans..u could actually see thats its food when u opened the can....thats i think the main reaosn why he doesnt like natural balance..ive never tried tuna..i dont kno exaclty where but i heard tuna/fish isnt good for cats..true?

Merrick's foods are all chunk-type foods (at least the ones I've tried), so you can actually see the little pieces of meat. Human canned tuna isn't good for them because it has too much of some nutrients and not enough of others (http://maxshouse.com/Tuna_and_Cats_N...nal_Facts.htm). In particular, there is an issue with too little vitamin E. There is also some talk about fish flavors of cat food having a link with hyperthyroidism, though I'm not sure I believe it.

Sierra has eaten Innova Canned for years. I fully support and recommend Natura products.
I also agree with the prevous recommendation of Merrick. It has lots of chunky pieces in it, so your kitty may like it. Sierra's very favorite "treat" food is their New England Boil.

I mostly use Innova, Wellness and Eagle Pack and I rotate amoung those. A couple of mine are picky about texture and these are 3 brand that all 7 of them go nuts for.

Tuna in oil is the kind that deletes a cats vitamin e, and can lead to steatitis, tuna just in water (and I mean water, not the "broth" that many cans of supposed tuna in water contain) is fine, there the issue is simply that all fish contain some mercury content, and moderation is best.

Speaking of seafood..you've already had some great recommendations, I'd just add that if your cat does like seafood on occasion, Petco's brand - called Petgold is superb..when you open the can, you can see the seafood (they have blends with calamari, lobster sauce, shrimp, tuna etc).

I recall Jcat saying that she has to rotate foods for her kittie, indeed I am finding the same with my Tyler..what is cool one week, is not the next, but if I am patient, it eventually becomes "yummy" again

Yes, but steatitis is an issue with human tuna being fed to cats...tuna cat food, unless it's real junk brand, is supplemented with Vitamin e, so it's not an issue.

I had the trainer at petsmart doing a double take since I work for one pet food company but had four different brands for variety... I have a rather small budget so I have used authority , pet gold , nutro , merrick , wellness(not again) , natural balence and the meow mix pouch
