I have to go to a funeral tomorrow.
A friend's 4 year old daughter died. She has been sick for 2 years of so: leukodystrophy, has been in a wheelchair, cannot eat or breathe by herself, requires constant care, etc. She could not talk, had to wear diapers, etc.

Very sad, but in a way, a blessing. Life was not fun for that child.

The other daughter is in 5th grade and has been so good about understanding that she does not get as much attention as her sister.

These are wonderful people. Please remember them in your prayers.
The little girl's name was Elizabeth.
Her mama and daddy are Kim and Wade.
Anne Tanner is the big sister.

Visitation is this evening. I am on my way to take a plant to the funeral home.

Thank you. They are much loved people. The dad is a deacon in the church. He is an angel, and so is the wife and the other little girl.

Thank you all. I took doughnuts over there this morning. They seem ok, I guess.

I appreciate the kind thoughts.

Oh Bobbie... Kim, Wade, and Anne are in my prayers.....I can only imagine how tough life was for Elizabeth...even with the constant love and attention she received.....she's an angel now in heaven as I'm sure she was on earth

Thank you! I just got back from the visitation at the funeral hime.

Even though this little girl lived 2 years longer than she was expected to live, it is still a shock and very sad. My kitties are giving me extra headbutts and purrs. Cats are the best. They instinctively KNOW when their mamas need lovin.

How tragic.
I'm hoping her family recovers soon.

She's in a better place now, where she can do everything on her own.
