First of all, I have to thank Stephanie and Danielle for being there for me when everything seemed so bad. Thank you both from the very bottom of my heart
I only wish that if you ever need me I can be there as much for you

And everyone here at TCS...
All of your thoughts, prayers, emails, PMs, and cards got me through a very scary time. I wish I could have replied to each of you individually but so many of you cared that I would be here for days
I could not ask to be able to spend my time with a better group of people than you here on TCS!

Kayla was brought back to the hospital here in Medicine Hat where she will stay until Monday.
Please forgive me but I don't understand all of the info from the Doctor's and am going by what Angie (Kayla's Nana) has told me.
After initially thinking Kay's liver was badly damaged they have decided that it is bruised. This can lead to other troubles but they aren't seriously concerned that it will. Though she again will stay in the hospital until Monday just incase.

She also has a broken arm but you would think that is cool talking to a 5 year old
She has a pink (YAY hehe I taught her well) cast and it is already covered in get well notes, ect
She can't wait till her friends see it.

So thats it for now but I really thank you for all your concern. It means the world to all of us here that love Kayla~

Thank you so very very much

Ash I am relieved to read this! Little ones bounce back fast, and pink casts are indeed cool!

Ash, I'm so glad to hear this. Pretty scary stuff you've gone through, and what a relief to know that Kayla will be OK -- and is already sufficiently OK to be enjoying her pink cast and wanting to show it off -- kids! aren't they just the neatest people!

That's excellent news!
Kayla's a champ!

I'm a bit jealous, they didn't have pink as an option when I was a kid (yeah, I was a klutz!)

At the kitty's beck and call
It's great to hear such good news and that the anxious times are behind you all.
Now Kayla can get on with the important business of parading her pink cast around her friends
