First visit to vet today, Question????

I took Salem and Spook to their first vet visit today. They did great together in the carrier and did well with the vet. She gave them each a FELV? shot and trimmed their nails. Now, this was at 1045am. I brought them home and they slept. Here we are at 6pm and they have only gotten up to eat and go potty. They are not playing which is strange to me. Is something wrong do you think?????

I think it takes about 24 hours for the way the shot makes them feel to wear off.

Oh really? Thank you. I know I am probably being overly worried but what I have been through with kitties in the past couple months, I am on edge. My vet didn't tell me about any side effects (which I am not very happy about now) so I am worried.

My kitty slept for 18 hours straight after her first shot. Your vet should have told you to expect this. Don't worry.

They are better today. Still not quite as active but much improved from yesterday. Salem's leg is sore where he got the shot. I hope that goes away soon.
