my youngest daughter will be 2 in june and she seems to think she's invincible, it doesn't matter how much she gets hurt she won't stop launching herself off the couch or the bed, yesterday she did a face plant and stuck her tooth through her lip...all these injuries are turning all my hair grey!

Sounds like my sister at that age. Mom can't remember all the times she would yell "catch me, Mommy" as she would launch herself off the 4 foot high porch.

I'm sure there will be others who will come along and tell you how normal this is. Meanwhile, you might want to start price comparisons on hair dye to cover up the gray.

When I was a kid, my brother thought the was Underdog. he had the ring with the secret compartment and a tee-shirt with a big U on the front and a towel for a cape. He jumped off the stairs onto the wood livingroom floor. Thank God he didn't get badly injured.

Under the cats, mostly.
Yeah.. Alex is at that stage too.... hrmn... I don't think this kid walks anywhere. He ties a coat or a t-shirt around his neck and pretends to have super-powers. When you ask what kind of special powers he has... he says "red". God alone knows what that's supposed to mean! I'm going grey too. Have been since 17. Thank Heaven for dyes, that's all I can say!

My son IS BATMAN. Sometimes he won't answer me unless I call him "batman" and in public I have to call him "Bruce Wayne".

My mom even made him some capes so now we go grocery shopping in the full batman garb. (he was batman for Holloween) It doesn't bother me, I know he's having fun. I just wish that as a child I would have been that comfortable in public to dress anyway I wanted. I was too shy.

They are only young once and grow up sooooooo fast, let 'em have fun!

I saw a little boy with his dad in a restuarant. The boy was dressed as Superman. I said to my BF loud enough for the boy to hear "Look, honey, Theres Superman!" The look on the kid's face was priceless!

these are great...my daughter is the caped avenger...she ties a little blanket on as a cape, and has shoulder lenght gloves she wears...kids are so cute...and i love it when people in public play along...my daughter says hi to everyone at wal-mart, and i hate it when people ignore her...everywhere else she's really shy, but at wal-mart she will talk to everyone!
