Pizza burn!

Ouch! Anyone ever eat a piece of hot pizza (or anything else that's hot and spicy) and get a horrible burn on the roof of your mouth? Two days after eating the culprit pizza (don't worry, it was a Healthy Choice pizza ), my the roof of my mouth is still burning!
Anyone know of any good remedies? I'm all ears! Gracias amigas y amigos!

I actually got a huge bubble burn on my CHIN from a piece of pizza at Target, it hurt

I've gotten those also from frozen pizza's!! The mouth heals quickly which is good. I sip ice water too!! Rub an ice cube on the spot!!

Thanks for the icy/water advice y'all I've been drinking cold Diet Cokes like they're going out of style (well, I do that every day anyway ) but I'll try holding some ice up and see how that works. OWIEEEEEEEE!

The only burns I have from Pizza are from Calzones, pizza's folded together. Even after waiting I still get burnt, which is why I do not eat calzone style of pizza anymore.

Mine are hot after I'm done nuking them!!!

Ouch ! I've always had a problem with that. I prefer deep-dish style pizzas and it takes them forever to cool off. I've gotten burned from hot pasta, too. One time I had a teeth cleaning scheduled shortly after I did that and the hygienist commented on it it was so bad!

I just only could I say you Amy...OOOUUUUUCHHHHHHH!!! That´s gotta hurt!

Yeah Amy, that pizza sauce burn can be the worst!!! It makes eating anything just slightly wam, burn that same spot all over again!!

Id go on a popsicle binge....you can guide the popsicle to more painful areas!

And, avoid spicy, salty, or citrus containing foods for a few days.
(believe me, I feel your pain. Ive been overeager on pizza before...more than once!)

I do it on soup always!!:/ Icecream should help, as the milk helps kinda coat the burned area?

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, and I can tell you that Pizza Burn was the bane of my existance. I'm pretty sure I developed callouses on the roof of my mouth after a while.

The worst thing is it would always affect my taste buds for a day or two as well as my pallet... painful stuff...

I always burn my toungue when I drink hot chocolate. It's so good I can't wait until it cools down to sip on it.

Ouch!! That burn from pizza cheese is the worst!! It hurts so bad, and there's no way you can keep your tongue from going to the sore spot!
