My cat elliot loves to play with crumpled up paper, and those puffballs you use for crafts. It is so cute because he will take the littler ones and pick them up in his mouth and bring them to me XD to see such a fat cat with a tiny little ball in his mouth is hilarious. We dont like him using hte little ones but he always seems to get them somehow O_O I just wish they sold puffballs in a larger size! I got him a toy that was a ball of yellow rabbit fur with wiggly legs attached, and I cut the legs off so he would hav the ball, but it's too fuzzy for him :O Maybe they have larger ones at the art store...

This is HILARIOUS stuff you guys X)) If I ever stop laughing I can tell snuggles that she can lick me all day now =P I also have an answer for the girl who asked how to train their cats XD I don't think god himself could train a CAT
Snuggles chose to fetch for us!

The talking is coming more frequently now, with short bursts of whines and cries. She makes this weird "Oooooweooooow" Sound if we ever leave her alone, and if she can, she will follow you everywhere (except outside) XD I love to watch her talk because she looks at you with those big, round, bright kitten eyes and opens her mouth in this kind of silly grin and talks. I can make out the words Mama, Now, No, Ya, and Love Ya. And I love her pur!
When she opens her mouth it echoes and it sounds like someone drove a car in the house, it's so cute
Did I tell you guys my kitten is an acrobat? We invented a toy for her made out of her favorite beanie-babie white tiger toy, a piece of her favorite ball of yarn, and a curtain rod, and we swing it up into the air and she jumps on it, grips onto it with her claws, and hangs there, gnawing at the thing while kicking her hind feet. I can't tell you how silly she sounds when she falls on her back and says "OOOOOOOWEOW"

Oh, yes, Indeed, I love my cats
I've seen a thing where you can take pipecleaners and make them into balls for like crafts and stuff... They're not very fluffy, and you can make them into round little balls.
There could also be some big pufffballs at the store, so good luck, i hjope you find some!

My Oliver loves to play fetch-- but Emma doesn't seem to "get it". I wouldnt worry about the licking either-- Emma is a licker and a drooler--she slimes her toys!

I have two 9 month old Burmese. The brown one, Bruno fetches bits of scrumpled paper and will actually initiate the game by finding a paper ball and dropping it at my feet. Both Burmese carry things round in their mouths an awful lot - I've always had domestic short haired before and they've never done this. The help themselves to bath sponges, socks from the laundry basket, watches, car keys etc, bring them downstairs and play with them. They can be really embarrassing when you have visitors, as they will carry down a pair of knickers and proceed to kill them in the middle of the sitting room floor!

I do agree that they have trained US to fetch for them
Snuggles has started to explore the house more and more. Now I can't keep her away from the kitchen table. She loves the scraps! She will jump up and eat them without anu coaxing
however, this could be a problem it guests are over.

And as for that last post..... what are knickers

If there's any way I can teach him how to do it right, please clue me in....
Lara does the same thing, but with balled-up pieces of paper. I always say "Can't you bring it all the way to me?", and she just meows in protest.

What I do now is throw the paper ball downstairs and she'll chase after it. Once she gets to the 5th or 6th stair, she'll jump off and run the rest of the way. It's adorable.

Another thing I do is throw the ball down the hall (we have a pretty long hallway) and as she chases it, she'll slide along the floor and overshoot the ball. It's cartoonish.
