I have 2 litter boxes. My dome boda box is still in great condition, but my extra large hooded pan needs replacing. My problem is that I can't find the same box sold in my area. I really liked it because it is extra large and it does not have an high entrance. I am looking at the new Tidy cat box. it has a larger back to it . I don't know what else to use. I have tried the corner litter box and my cats wouldn't use it.
, so I am lost. Any one use this litter box? My cats are 12 or so poundss and 16 pounds. Would this be big enough for them? thank you.

I wish our Walmart carried those. Gandalf was 13lb last time I took him to the vet in Oct. He's still growing though so who knows how heavy he is. Not only is he built big, he's long (Samwise is slimmer but longer) and I'm still having trouble finding a litter box that both he and Samwise can use comfortably and still have enough room to dig inthe litter to cover up their business. A lot of times Gandalf will sratch on the wall or the edge of the litter pan cause he just doesn't have enough room. Maybe I'll order that one off line and see how they do in it.

Covering is an issue, but when our big boy lays down, he is 3 feet long, he is a BIG cat and he uses it ok...I know Walmart carried different large pans too...have you checked there at different times?

If the Tidy Cat box is the one they have been hyping with tons of coupons, I spent 10 minutes looking at it and decided it wouldn't accomodate my 14 lb Nano. Make your own judgments but I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

For what its worth, Nano uses the largest litter box brand I can find in the store.

FWIW, if you do a search on litterboxes, you'll find several threads where they're discussed... that said, i have 2 littermaids, & i love them - really keeps the smell down!

I have seen extra large hooded litter boxes at Meijer's too. Not sure if there is one in your area or not.

Thanks to all for your replys. Ciera They sell this one at petsmart near me. The new Tidy cat box is similiar. It says jumbo , but it looks so small for a large cat. But thanks for the link any way. I don't know what a Meijers is, lol. I may have to end up buying this one, the litter box won't stand another week.
