Hi from Mama Claire

I am new to this site, and want to put forth a problem. I live in NE WI and do not know where to find a place that will neuter/spay cats. I have a female and her two kittens plus there is a ferral cat community in a shed behind the house. I do not have a lot of income, but feel it important to reduce unwanted kittens. Does anyone out there have any ideas on how to get vets to cooperate? The one I called wanted to charge $80 to spay the mother cat---I just can't afford it. Thanks to all!!
