What are some of the little things that made you happy today?

And I've posted enough to be a young cat, instead of a kitten! WooHoo!

Good thread topic, yes it's so important to remember the little things that are good:

At our staff meeting today one of the Professors actually brought up how to deal with stress and how to make other students feel comfortable if they are upset. I don't know it made me feel good that a Prof would say that, many could care less. So I made a point about just "listening" to the students sometimes, just let them talk and wait to give a suggestion, (I did this yesterday when a student was upset, I let her tell me her problems...)

When I came Home Sammy kitty greeted me as usual, he is so cute.

This morning I was a little upset but I came back on to TCS to find a beautiful PM waiting for me, that was so kind!

Today is Thursday, and the second last day before my long weekend

But the best part comes everyday on every afteroon, when I come home from work to go over to feed my babies, and Heidy is there waiting for me, as soon as she see's me she comes over for some HUGE cuddles and kisses. And the boys get them too, even though they are more interested in the food, lol.

lol, thanks! he is a cutie...and he lets you know it! he can meow for hours and hours to get attention, hehe. He's the baby of the family, so he gets a little more spoilt..maybe...

nice thread. I need this today, I had a sad day. but one thing that made me happy was Hoots on the sofa next to me. And i saw my first Gold Finches of the summer...

I dun have to work today. I dun have to do any housework today. I got an invitation to Malaysia next Friday and I am going out with my friend tomorrow.

I went on a mini shopping spree at IKEA with a friend, which was fun... I bought some scented candles, a couple of aloe plants (to be kept in high places), a set of wicker baskets, bedding, and new stoneware bowls for the meowies. Except for the bedding, the cost was minimal... so that actually made me happy.

Sierra and I slept in this morning, and I awoke not to an alarm clock, but to my baby girl gently touching my face telling me it was time for her breakfast. We had lots of time together today to play and snuggle! When I logged on here, I had an inbox full of sweet pm's. When I stepped outside, I felt the warm sun and a perfect breeze as the ocean roared peacefully.

I woke up this morning to find the sun shining and the blossom on the tree outside Rosie and Sophies bedroom more or less in full bloom

I got kisses from Sophie and headbutts off Rosie who were obviously pleased i was awake

Life is good!!

TOday so far, i woke up to the sun shine because it has been cloudy and rainy for the past few days and im soo happy that now im inspired to go to the supermaket that is a 30 mins walk!
Im also excited because my rose bush is growing

Yesterday (Wednesday)... happy stuff:
My daughter called my cell phone 10 minutes before I left work asking when I'd be leaving. I love it when she calls me just to chat.

There was not a lot of traffic on the way home. Small thing but VERY NICE.

Watching the boys play with each other while on a Catnip High. Very funny stuff & it kills me to see how the girlcats get so paranoid from catnip but the boycats wanna playfight... Just their expressions make me roll...


Today's happy stuff... it's raining outside, which is good cuz I just planted a bunch of stuff in my front yard, pretty lil things that need water!

Man, life couldn't be any better than that!
This morning, I woke up to see Cosette's sweet little face peeking at my through the pillows and then I heard that gi-normous (bigger than enormous )purr of hers! Then Eponine jumped on the bed and the girls wrestled around for a bit. Moments like those take my breath away

Awwwww isn't that lovely!

Buying 4 scatter cushions from Habitat in the sale!!!!

(They were well over half price, I have been eyeing them up for months now... hehe)
