About 8-9 months ago, I started a thread on Todd Krampitz. He was the one looking for a donor for a liver transplant. (I think the thread was lost with the downtime we had a couple of months ago). Todd received the liver on August 12, 2004....he was slowly feeling better. Until recently, he was on a downhill spiral...Todd passed away early this morning. Please keep his family in your prayers.

More on Todd

(Keep in mind, the family hasn't had the time to update the site with recent events.)

Thank you everyone. Julie really needs prayers right now (his wife)...it's just heartbreaking for the family.

Little did I know a year ago, that Bryan (an agent here at my office) and Todd wouldn't be around anymore. Life is so short. We have to treasure each and every moment we have here especially with the ones we love

Candie not a truer word was spoken!. If ever i feel a bit low i just have to think of a close friend of mine who ended her life because of a terminal illness and i'm soon kicked back into shape!.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Candie. Yes, prayers for his family. His passing will be especially hard, when they had been given hope by the transplant. No matter how much one knows intellectually that that's not a guarantee, it's hard to convince one's gut of that reality.

The miracle of this situation, he was able to get a donated liver. But, now he is helping someone right now since he was also a donor.

I've just read the update Candie, and i have tears in my eyes

Thats lovely that Todd is able to help someone else even though he's been through his own traumas of being on the waiting list

How sad that he didn't make it, but wonderful that he's helping others with similar fates, and made many people more aware of the need for organ, blood, and marrow donations.

Thanks, Sam. I talked to Julie awhile yesterday when she came by the office. It was perfect to be able to sit down and talk with her. Her faith in the Lord is wonderful and she said that now she has the perfect angel looking over her all the time. I really do believe that it makes it easier knowing that some day we will be with our loved ones again. Julie is such a beautiful and wonderful person, may God continue to bless her through prayers and love.
