Cat Pages

I was wondering if there was a way to add a voting system into the Cat Pages section so that we can have a hand in choosing the Cat of the Day or have a Cat of the Month prize. Like you narrow it down to 10 cats and the members of the site vote on the best of those 10.

I think that's a great idea. But it would be hard to keep up daily. Perhaps Anne could have a cat of the month deal where toward the end of the month she could post all that month's Cat Of Tha Day's and we members could vote.

But remember that Anne is pregnant and has some difficulties and she is doing her best with the site (and doing a great job I might add).

Personally, I don't like cat or pet contests - their all cats of the day, month, year and lifetime to me. I don't choose the cat of the day, I just post all of those with a picture one after the other. That way, every cat with a picture in his cat page gets to be cat of the day sometime. I don't mind having a cat photo contest though, where people will send the best quality photographs. We could even have a sponsor for the contest, so that the winner will get a prize.

However, I'm afraid I don't have enough time to update the cat of the day on a daily basis, so I don't think the contest will be held anytime soon. Hopefully after the baby is born and we get through the first few months, I will have the time and energy to do something like that.
