Actually, I would go with Oasis' "Definitely Maybe" if it was my choice. Awesome record!

I really don't get that poll. I wouldn't consider 50% of those albums named "great" much less "best of all time". I CANNOT believe Metallica's Black Album didn't even make it on there. Oh well, to each his own

(but seriously Radiohead #1?)

I think the poll was done by Channel Four in the UK... so I'm guessing it would be according to voters there.

I'm a total anglophile, so I can see the reasoning... as far as British music goes, most of the best records are listed there.

I think that in polls like this more recent works will score higher than older ones, due to familiarity and continuing output from the group. Personally, I think the Beatle's "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" should be in the top two, because it was extremely innovative for its' time and still is influential today. Plus, it's one of the few albums that I like *every* song.

Absolutely. I actually thought the same thing as I was reading the list.
My favourite Beatle's album is "Revolver", and my dad's was "The White Album"... though I don't know how either scored in the poll.
