58% Dixie.

Interesting since my relatives are all from Nebraska (northern Nebraska at that!) and I was raised in Colorado. I'm apparently linguistically confused...most of my answers were either Southern or Great Lakes Region, and I'm not from either place! LOL

65% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!

Interesting, considering I grew up in Montreal, Quebec, and have lived more than half my life in Vancouver, BC -- not US, at all, and certainly not south. Go figure!

81% Dixie!

My grandpa used to say, "You can take the girl outta Dixie but you can't take the Dixie outta the girl."

Oh and drive thru liquor stores......they are on every corner here. All coonasses do is drink and eat.

(A coonass is not a bad word here. It means a bonified cajun usually from "down da bayou" with a very thick Cajun-French accent.)

I got 53% - barely Dixie

What-huh? I grew up in New England, as should have been explicitly clear from "bubblahs"!

Okay, how about picking on Linda instead? How does it feel to be stradling the fence Linda? Are you Yankee or Dixie? Make up your mind.

70% (Dixie). A definitive Southern score!

Whew! I was kind-a worried there for a minute. I grew up in Southeast Arkansas and have been told many times that I don't have a Southern accent. I'm gonna send the link to my Mississippi mother-in-law!

Growing up I had an AINT Sylvia, an AINT Illya, an AINT Ola Mae, etc.

I just gave my 11 year old son the test. He was born in Mississippi but has lived here in Southern Indiana for 10 years and grew up watching Canadian cartoons on PBS. He scored 1% more Dixie than me!

71% (Dixie). That is a pretty strong Southern score!

Got an email from my brother who married a girl from East Tennessee and moved there. They both scored 87%.

THIS JUST IN - my mother-in-law scored a 97%. She's a hard-core Delta Mississippi roller!

57% (Dixie). Barely into the Dixie category.

That sound about right. I live in Maryland right between the Yankies and the Dixies.
