Cat - see what you started here?
The pent up frustrations of all of us!
Can I add mine too? let me tell you, I am a size 8 or 10 regular to petite, depending on the cut or style and when I go into Banana Republic or Nordstrom here (on a day I feel flush
) they look at me like I am crazy! Why aren't I a size 2 or 4? Because I choose not to be anorexic, that's why! I am proud of being a 10 - I work hard to stay that way and it might photograph like a 12 or 14 but in real life I have no complaints. Like pants only are 2, 4, 6, 8 and then you are SOL.

I had to laugh at the comment of being a floral arrangement....looks like I'm heading that way!!

That's actully my goal........to be a size 10 again! Oh I'd give anything! On the up side, I've lost 8lbs since getting preggo!
My prob now is that my stomach is still growing and that's what won't fit in my pants!
The doctor said that I could lose weight as long as the baby was growing so that's my plan!!

Oh I envy you......I miss being a size 10!

Maybe somebody needs to call "What Not To Wear" for me so they can tell me where to find clothes without flowers, or with my belly button showing or butt hanging out!

My little sis is like a size 2, IMHO, she looks sickly. I never want to be that small. Like Kirsti Alley said, "Medium, medium is good!"

Eric has a very nice saying for us "normal girls", he says if he can't feel it or squeeze it, then how the heck is he supposed to know it's there?

Movin' on up!
At 5' 6 1/2" and around 160 lbs, I wear a 16-18, depending upon the manufacturer. I hate the women's pants, with enough room in the seat, to raise a family in. While hippy, I do not have a big butt and I hate having YARDS of fabric flapping about my backside. Thak goodness, for Newport News and Rustler (men's) jeans. Good fit, good length and good value. I just got a pair of men's Dickies jeans that are a great fit, too.

I would use Yahoo as your search engine (they are more attuned to retail and shopping) and just type in the words "trendy petite maternity" and see what pops up, or put in "pretty maternity pants petite" and see what you get - or take out the petite wording. You should get tons of stuff.

Try long lost TRIPLET! I'm 5ft as well...and I hate those damn capris! I look like I'm trying out for a remake of I Dream of Jeannie! Funny my twin sister (fraternal) is 5'6", well actually NOT funny. I don't know who they make pants for, the average US woman is 5' 5", yet the pants are model length!

Put me down for another shorty who has a problem finding capris!

During my pregnancy I wore drawstring pants. And I hated those floral tops. Oh please!

Thank you so much! I'm so flattered that you thought of me!

I've just gotten home from an out of town job to find a very sick little boy waiting for me. So, I'm not really "off of work" yet. I've book marked the site so I can check it out later!

Thank you again!!
