Show me your mailboxes!

I will need to be replacing my rural (stand-on-a-post-along-the-road-type) mailbox soon, so I want some ideas for kinds and -- well anything creative that may or maynot go around it. So if anyone likes their mailbox, I would appreciate it if you show it to me!

LOL, Mine is a black thing with rust and the wooden post has seen better days.

I just moved to this house and our mailbox is this atrocious thing with a dumb looking duck on it, eeeewwwwwwww. I'd like some ideas too, as we will be replacing that "thing" soon.

Our mailbox is a large basic black model we had put up two years ago to replace the previous 30 year old mailbox.

It now looks as bad as the 30 year old box! After the last snowplow knocked it off the post, we taped it back on. Looks so redneck. I love it!

We had some punks down the street riding 4-wheelers when it snowed good in December run into ours and knocked it out of it's 4X4 post. I looked out the window just in time to see him riding off.
I know who he is and his time will come!

Hehe.. Our mailbox is giving the mailman fits. It's a box and post one, too, but falling apart and with a plastic twistee tie holding the door.

Heres what we have in the UK for our post.

And theres not many have their own mail collectors like i do!

Hissy, I love your mailbox!

Mine is plain white with a red flag. Once I saw someone who actually did have a minature version of their house as a mailbox....
If you are super creative, get a white one, and paint some thematic design! Good luck
(and hats off to all people with creaky mailbox doors)

It's normally dogs that do that sort of thing! lol

It must be a pain having to walk down the garden to your mail box just to collect your mail

But then I suppose you get used to it....
