my landlord told me on saturday that i can put my wet laundry in the basement on monday. tuesdays and wednesdays.
Anyway, i have noticed that my neighbour had been wearing really nice perfume, atleast i thought it was, untill today i went down there to bring my dry washing up and i could smell her "perfume" all over the basement and it was coming from the clothes she hung up!
Why doesnt my washing come out like that????
when ever i was my bf's clothes he still has a strong odur on his and i dont get it how hers can go away and mine cant???

Should i use the same washing liquid as she does? or do i have to put in more powder?? I have a fairly small washing machine.... could mine be broken?

im just so lost!

The blue Lenor is great
If I leave stuff on my banisters to dry it makes the whole flat smell lovely!

Have tried the brand "Tide?" The liquid version. Your clothes come out with such heavenly scent that you just want to burying your face in the clothes and go "AHHHHH!!!!!."

And the best part of it is that as you pour the liquid out you can sing the following song. And imagine the dirt on the clothes as the girl in the song trying to cling on while the Tide soap does its job:

The tide is high but I'm holding on
I'm gonna be your number one
I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that
Oh, no

It's not the things you do that tease and wound me bad
But it's the way you do the things you do to me

I'm not the kind of girl who gives up just like that
Oh, no

The tide is high but I'm holding on
I'm gonna be your number one
Number one, number one

I use both liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets.

Yeah. I'm a freak. But I'm a freak with good smelling laundry!

We usually do the same here! We put in our detergent, then the Downy Ball with softener, and then dryer sheets! It absolutely smells amazing!

I was meant to get a dishwasher but when I moved in I thought, ahh it's not worth it with just me living here. So... there is a space right next to my washing machine where I could get a TUMBLE DRYER! This topic has just made me think about this! ... See I had a new kitchen put in and everything then decided against the dishwasher, it was too late to get more cupboards as the worktop had been fixed and tilled then dumb ass here changed her mind... lol

I use the fabric softener sheets for my dryer.. I don't have good luck with the liquid, I don't know if it's my machine or what. I've also started using the scented detergents and they smell awesome. I used to only use unscented but these are great. My bf always asks why his clothes smell so good when I wash them and don't when he does.. hehe.

I have my dryer in the kitchen. It's on an inside wall, so I bought an unvented "Condensation Dryer" (and use the distilled water in my steam cleaner). It works quite well.

What detergents do you use?

I use Weise Reise for undies, socks, bedding, and towels

and Persil on clothes
