i'm new here...i've been a cat lover my whole life...i grew up on a farm and my grandmothers cats were always having babies, so from the time i was born i've been chasing kitties...i had been without for a while because we rented and couldn't have cats, but in september we bought our first home and the first week we were here i went to get a cat, i got one from the pound she was a year and a half old, and everyone wanted kittens no one wanted the older cats, so we rescued her and she is quite the lover...super long hair and very soft...then last week i got my daughter her first kitten...it's 5 weeks old and oh so tiny and cute! she calls it mookie...and today i just aquired a third, there are several strays outside my parents catering business, and my daughter loves to play with them (they're surprisingly very loveable) i noticed that one had a huge gaping hole near his tail, as there are no laws in idaho regarding the treatment of cats the humane society said i would have to catch the cat and bring it in, but then they told me they would just euthanise him, and that's just wrong! well my family is on a very tight budget and i can't afford all the shots and neutering, and surgery that the baby needs, because like i said i just got a five week old kitten and spent our extra money for the month on her shots, so i found a wonderful organization here that is willing to pay for the cats tests, shots, neutering, and repairs, if i can give the cat a good home...how could i say no? so i called my husband and told him to catch the little guy and bring him home, he'll be going in to the vet first thing in the morning, i've named him Paco, and i feel very confident that he will be extremely happy in his new home, he's never had a home before and it's pretty obvious that no one has ever taken care of him...i can't wait til he's all better

Hi! Wow, 5 weeks?? That is awefully young to be taken away from mommy.

Good luck on the new babies!

Welcome!

Thank you for rescuing Paco.

What is the name of your "older" kitty? And Mookie sounds adorable.

Welcome to the site! Bless you for caring about Paco, and searching to find an organization who will help with his vet care. Mookie sounds adorable, and your eldest kitty sounds like a real love too.
