New, or possibly returning....

I was certain I had a membership here once upon a time....

It's possible I didn't, but maybe someone remembers me. And maybe I got deleted for some reason I'm not aware of. Maybe I offended somebody. I usually remember when I do stuff like that, though, so I doubt I did....

My name is Hunter, and 'my cat's' name is Zombi. She's my first 'out on my own' -- all other cats I've ever had were technically my parents' cats.

I recently moved from a townhome environment [a particularly bad one] to a lovely house out in a nice neighbourhood. I now have this great fenced-in back yard, and have discovered that Zombi just loves being out there when we [myself and my significant other] are out there. I have pictures [somewhere] but I think I'm probably supposed to post them over in the 'for pictures' forum. I have to run off and browse to see if the big question that brought me back here has been answered before I find a place to ask it....

Welcome (back) to the site! I think I do remember you, or at least a kitty named Zombi. Tina is probably correct that you were one of many casualties lost in the December crash. We did lose everything from June through December, including members, posts and threads. But I'm sure glad you've come back and re-registered!

To answer the question about my screenname: I'm actually not that huge a fan of coffee. Given the choice, I'd rather a can [or bottle] of coke, or a nice tea. Maybe that chai latte stuff that Starbucks has.

The name was given to me by my significant other. It's a strange term he made up to refer to certain special crazy females such as myself.

But back to the coffee thing. I wouldn't say I hate it, I'm just not quite used to it yet. Some coffee tastes good, unfortunately, my stomach doesn't often agree with my sense of taste. Gets all acidey and stuff. And not every coffee-lover would agree that what I drink is 'coffee'. It's certainly not straight-black. I'm definitely a fan of the mocha....

...all this reminds me...I really need to clean up the Senseo.
