The guy in the middle with the guitar is sitting on a Tidy Cats Litter pail.
These guys had just set up in the middle of the street in the French Quarter.

Here are a few more miscellaneous pictures of a jazz band in Jackson Square.

The pictures are small and the quality stinks because I was using a disposable camera and got a rotten picture disk back from the developer. I'll take my digital next time!

I'm about an hour away from New Orleans. When were you there?

If that's the strangest thing that you saw while being in the Quarter, you're pretty lucky!
If you're not from the south, did you go take a tour of the cemetaries? All of our tourist find our cememtaries amazing. They are truely full of history and very interesting.

Hope you had a wonderfull time down in cajunland!

We were there about a month ago for a few days. My folks live in Bastrop and I went to college in Monroe but that was only the second time I'd ever been to New Orleans. We had a GREAT TIME and CAN'T WAIT to go back! My husband and son took a haunted history tour but I don't think it went into the cemeteries. That's just one more thing we didn't have time to do!

You need to pick up that guitar then and set up in the middle of a Cleveland street, I guess.

The three of us are already trying to plan when we can go back. There was so much left undone: the art museums, horse-back riding in the park, cemetery tour, the wax museum, we didn't get a muffaletta (sp?), etc. Plus, the Abita Beer!

You need to go to Cafe' Du Monde also! Huge landmark in the Quarter! You can also take a ride through the "Garden District"............beautiful homes!

One thing I've always wanted to do just to be able to say that I did it is to take a horse carraige ride through the Quarters with my husband.
