I am always amazed at how this community reaches out to those in pain, and while they expose themselves in such a vulnerable way by speaking words of sympathy and love, amazing sentiments get posted in the process-

"May your love for her take her beyond the bridge to the place where only angels tread."

" It's so easy to love, and so hard to lose."

"When their pain stops, ours begins"

"No love is ever lost or meaningless."

Thanks to all of you who have to briefly open up the pain in your own heart to reach those on the path of grief. And thank you for the inspiration and wisdom you leave behind you when you do.

THis IS the nicest most careing group of people anywhere. I don't post here as often as I want as my heart hurts too much, ( NOW My Missy is in the Vets fighting for HER life! )BUT everyone has helped me and comforted me on my Schatzi and now my Corkie's death and on Benji's illness - just as if I was here all the time. I tell you the truth I Am ETERNALLY grateful for you and this group!

It really is quite amazing what people do for one another here. I know that when my Tank was sick, the words of encouragement and compassion where so generously given and it helped me stay positive. When the inevitable came, and I had to make the dreaded decision, so many people reached out to me in my pain and sent such loving words of tenderness and understanding, it was enough to fill my heart to capacity with love and greatfulness rather than pain for just a few moments. Those moments were cherished, and I reflected on them often as I grieved the loss of my little man. It was an incredibly painful experience, but one that was made better and a little more managable by the compassionate people that populate TCS. I feel blessed to be in such a place.

Thank you for giving such an inspirational message, Hissy!! Your insight into human hearts is as astute as your insight into the minds of animals...I'm sure that when the angels consider you, their faith in humankind is renewed!! Susan
