My son brought one home about a month ago from the petstore and I looked a that thing (laughed) and thought, someone sure came up with a clever idea....wire and cardboard, why didn't I think of that?
Anyway, my 3 kitties love it. I rank it right up with the Turbo Scratcher as one of the very best toys.

So I guess this means that they don't sell it in the UK?

It is a neat toy...sometimes simple is best! And I love the owner/creator...he's just a neat and very nice guy to do business with.

I was sent a free catnip one to trial, well, for Alix to trial
) The catnip one consists of a medium weight green plastic mouse impregnated with catnip scent - can be used as a handle or you can hold by the end with the cardboard 'twigs', and move the mouse by your kitty.

This same company created the Cat Charmer wand toy, a paw shaped brush with curving 'tail' handle that features changeable brush heads (different textures to the brush including wire slicker type)....very creative!

I was very skeptical when I bought Milo a cat dancer, I mean he usually goes for all the bells and whistles, but everyone on here kept saying how great they are. So I brought it home and he went nuts for it. Even Pixie who hates toys will chase the thing sometimes. We're already on our second one in about 2 months!

I bought one thinking, "no way will my cats go for this," but even Katie (age 12) has been playing with it. My youngest, Peter, drags it around the house and it brings it to me to play.

Have you tried just typing in "cat dancer" on the net?!
Yeah
I think it's just overseas places. They do sommit similar in my pet shop though with feathers on the end. Guin had one some time ago but after 3 months I had to chuck it out as he had pulled all the feathers off! lol
Might just get him another one of those as he did have some fun with it.

Ahhhhh!!!
Well, don't I feel silly now!
I'm going to go get a new one, see if it works, cause they'd be sooo happy to have the cat dancer at their disposal while I'm at work!

Thanks Rarepuss!

My kitties all love the cat dancer!! Especially my disabled Forest. I credit the cat dancer with helping him learn how to run...he was so determined to chase it he just had to figure out how.

you're welcome! I had it off the tv, then off the bookshelf, pretty much anywhere high enough with a flat surface
you know that ledge between horizontal window panes? - you can attach it there as well

The Cat Dancer, OMG Dunkin had a fit, I got several a few of the ones that go on the wall, he played with it till I was afraid he was going to have a stroke or pass out,
he was panting so bad I had to take the thing down, he wouldn't stop
He
that thing, and what a simple thing is is

My cat doesnt like it AT ALL.
She looks annoyed at me when I bounce it around her, like "What am I supposed to do with THAT thing?"

The fishing rod toy with the dangling turtle is like crack to her though.

Lightning likes it, but he likes the laser pointer even more. I can make Lightning travel farther to get the laser pointer so it wears him out quicker. Still takes forever to wear him out though.
