All-righty... the people who invented the "cat dancer" really are making their millions, eh?

I bought one this weekend thinking "I can't imagine ANY cat would like this stupid little thing" (for those who don't know, it's basically 5 strips of rolled cardboard attached to a metal wire). I figured it was cheap enough so since I heard good things I'd squash my own doubts and give it a try.

Well Cosmo LOVES the darn thing! He just goes nuts for it. I didn't find the wall mount thing all that useful, but overall it's gotta be one of his favorites. He just goes psycho for it!

Who woulda thought...

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Let them tear into it, Dan! You know Sierra would love to send them another, it doesn't have to be just Christmas!

I thought the very same thing about the Cat Dancer, Amy! How on earth would any kitty enjoy this wire with little cardboard pieces on the end! When I finally got one, I realized how wrong I was! Sierra loves it!
How wonderful that Cosmo is enjoying his new toy!

Yup, Baylee LOVES it. I picked it up for her on a whim, now I've started swearing by it! I think I need replacement cardboard bits tho... she's starting to wear it out!

I have had these for years! One of my cats would get it and bring it to me when I told him to go and get his toy, or if he wanted to play with me. All of my cats play with it.
They are great!

First of all, I just am in LOVE with Cosmo!!!
He's sooo gorgeous!!!

And secondly, I know what you all mean about the Cat Dancer. I bought it with alot of doubts, and was proved wrong right away!

I was dissapointed in the thing that you hang so that they can play alone though - it doesn't stay up there at all, just falls off.

Thanks Lotsa -- and Cosmo meows a "thanks" too -- but he's quite full of himself and knows he's gorgeous

Yup, I agree with ya on the wall-mount thing. That was just about useless. I've been trying to devise a way to come up with my own mount since I think he'd actually like to play with it on his own, but haven't come up with any ideas yet.

The company that makes them is about 10 miles away from where I work. So I can buy them all over the place!! The local newspaper had an article on the company a week or 2 ago. They are coming out with a catnip scented cat dancer. Bakker ripped all the paper off so now I just have a wire. All my cats love that toy!!. Their website is catdancer.com-those that have had problems with the sticky part-perhaps you can email them???

My 3 love their Cat Dancer!! Here's some pictures of Ariel and Chester playing with theirs! Piper likes to play with it by herself, although she will play with the other two sometimes. Until one of them lands on her, then she runs under the table and watches!!
It really is the best cat toy ever invented!

here's what i found - it's not for wall-mounting! but instead, put it on a flat surface, that's how it's supposed to stay.

Why the catnip scent? To make them love it more? Is that possible? Every cat/kitten I've ever had has gone absolutely berserk for that thing. I have to keep buying new ones!
