Yes, I most definitely feel free to voice my opinions here (despite some of the intimidation tactics used by certain members . Here I go with your questions!

1- Ever seen BNL perform live?

I've never seen BNL live... But I did see Steven Page (singer) at "Word on the Street" last September. A few BNL facts for you... Actually, they used to perform as buskers in Toronto back in the 80's when they were just starting out. Recently, they did a fundraiser for Jack Layton and the federal NDP, which I thought was the coolest.

2- Is Canada proud of Shania Twain?

They are... especially westerners, despite the fact that she comes from Ontario. Must be the country music thing... Ontarioans aren't as much into it. Personally, I was proud of Avril Lavigne as a realistic role model for girls and young women... that is, until I recently saw her on the cover of trashy mags Cosmopolitan and Maxim in a sleazy bustier. Do we really need another Christina? I think NOT.

3- What is the farthest you have traveled?

I've been all across Canada (except the Martimes), and have also travelled throughout the Northern US, and spent a week in New York City back in September 2001 (I got home 3 DAYS before 9/11). I LOVED the East Village.

4- What is your favorite memory of your father?

You had to ask... I think my favourite memory of my father would actually be the time leading up to his suicide, after my mother left and following his discharge from the hospital. Even though I was only 17, I was able to see him in a very different light than I had previously. As I had to take on the role of family caregiver, we had a friendship of sorts during those last couple of months, which I remember fondly to this day. He managed to rid himself of the machismo I couldn't stand, and I grew to respect him. He would take me shopping, we'd go for lunch and talk, and for the first and last time in my life, he told me he loved me. I miss him terribly.

5- Do your kits have middle names?

No... but I am open to any suggestions!?!

1. What was the last chocolate thing you had to eat?

Shnikies! I just realized I haven't had my chocolate quota for the day!!! The last thing I had was a bag of M&M's... yesterday!

2. What toppings do you like at Subway?

I usually get the 6 inch grilled chicken on white. I'm pretty predictable when it comes to toppings... though SOMETIMES I can get creative. Usually I get cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with a low-fat dressing.

3. What toppings do you dislike or hate at Subway?

Olives... no olives for me... NEVER!

4. What's the most messed up movie you ever liked?

"The Believer" starring Ryan Gosling. It's based on a true story about a man born and raised as an Orthodox Jew in NYC, who becomes involved with a neo-Nazi group as a skinhead (with his secret under wraps). He has such self-hatred that he formulates and carries out plans in an attempt to destroy anything and anyone labelled as "Jewish", and when he is ultimately found out and exposed as a Jew... well, I've leave the ending a mystery, in hopes you will rent it and find it as intriguing as I did.

I like extreme sports, and I think dodging SUV's while riding my scooter is DEFINITELY an extreme sport in it's own right. I like watching skateboarding (used to be a skate betty back in the 80's), snowboarding, surfing... you get the picture! Oh, and I also like "Monster Garage" and "American Chopper".

2. Do you eat pizza with a fork or with your hands? Dip it in anything?

Definitely with my hands. Although I have eaten pizza with a fork... when there's been loads of toppings on it and couldn't really just shovel it in. I'm a pizza purist... no dipping.

3. When you swim underwater, do you have to hold your nose?

No... but when I was a kid I always seemed to manage to inhale buckets of water when I would dive or even jump off the diving board.

4. Do you like to go to casinos? If so, what's your game?

I gamble enough with my life by riding a Vespa, so I try to stay away from doing the same with my money, in case I NEED the money to save my life. Although I admit to shopping WAY too much.

5. Ever break any traffic laws on your scooter? (speeding???)

I've ridden without insurance (only once), after my license expired (one time), after dark when I wasn't supposed to (many times) and over the speed limit (many more times!)... but I never got caught!

6. What is your favorite cartoon character?

Funny... I just bought sheet the other day. I only use 100% cotton sheets, and the ones I just bought are 310 thread count.

Actually, I stopped drinking beer years ago. I know, I'm a BAD Canadian! I like cocktails and martinis (I don't know how I'm going to survive outside of Toronto! )

1) What is your favorite piece of clothing??

I've got a few faves... Right now, I would say my pink Fred Perry track jacket and my black/pink suede Etnies skate shoes are big faves.

2) How many pairs of shoes do you own?

Now, THAT is a funny question! Okay... I've got about 10 pairs of heels for work (including 2 pairs of boots), 5 pairs of sneakers, 5 pairs of flip-flops, and 10 more pairs of casual shoes/sandals/boots. I'm SO embarrassed to share that ... but I guess admitting you have a problem is the first step in recovery.

3) Do you like coffee?

Yes. I like "specialty" beverages from Starbucks/Second Cup. Again, I feel embarassment from my consumerist ways coming on.

4) Whats your favorite season?

Autumn, definitely. The crisp air, rainy days, and trees losing their leaves represent a symbolic time for me.

5) Do you paint your nails or do you leave them natural?

I used to paint my nails for YEARS and they were actually quite brittle for a while after I stopped, but now I usually just paint them for special occasions and keep them short and natural the majority of the time.

6) Whats your favorite restaurant?

I love The Keg... And I like deli take out as well.

7) Whats your favorite snack?

Anything chocolate... And I like anything with cheese, too.

My favourite genre is kind of hard to decide on... I like real-life, hard-hitting, tear-jerking, tv-kicking drama. Although I also like some fantasty, like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I definitely can't choose one, being a total film buff. The following are all contenders for top spot: The Hours, The Shawshank Redemption, Ordinary People, East of Eden, The Pianist, A Streetcar Named Desire, Raging Bull, Traffic, Blow, American History X, Casino, Thelma & Louise, The Way We Were, Pulp Fiction, Mystery River, Million Dollar Baby, The Aviator, The Believer and Shrek 2 (for fun!).

Tonight at the banquet I had the most INCREDIBLE chocolate dessert... sort of like a rum ball/truffle combination. Actually, I like anything chocolate flavoured with orange, as well as chocolate mousse and ice cream. Actually, thinking about it... I really like vanilla cake and ice cream together.

I like filet mignon done medium well. And no... never heard of Billy Miner Pie, but I'm guessing it's something like a shepherd's pie? Anything at The Keg is great.

I got something even better than than. On my third date with the last guy I dated, which was about 2 months ago now, I was pretty intoxicated and he wanted to dance so we went to this club where the average is probably 21. I was having a crappy time because I knew I didn't like him that much, and some drunk guy walked by me, knocked my bottle into me, and kept going. So I turned about and smacked the idiot... and he kept staggering along like nothing happened! The guy I was with had to grab me to prevent an altercation.

As for ex-boyfriends? I'd say quite a few of them had been in fights, but not while I was present.

2. Are you ticklish?

Sometimes... Usually my sides or feet feel it the most.

3. When was the last time you had a tickle fight?

Probably a couple of years ago when I was dating an Aries. My last boyfriend pretty boring in the respect, though we may have had one... just can't remember.

4. If Mik and Lex were human, what do you think they would be like?

Mik would be the adventurous, outdoorsy type, yet snobby and reserved with a superiority complex. Lex would be a partier who would dance all night, but also sensitive and sweet, and manipulative too!
