I wish I knew. Jamie is absolutely addicted to Whiskas cat milk, and wails till he gets his daily ration. I gave it to him as a kitten because he was getting it at the foster family's home, and all attempts to wean him from it or water it down have failed miserably. My vet says a small portion (1/4 bottle) every day won't hurt him as long as he maintains his weight.

Mine are addicted to CatSip. Its the only brand they like. We give it to them everyday. They beg my husband every morning while he's making coffee. He spoils them so! I remember my petsmart was out of it a while back and got Whiskas instead and you should have heard all the complaining they did till they got their Sip!

Lilly and Ebony are recent addicts of this stuff as well. In fact the reason I bought it was to try to lure Lilly out from hiding under the bed. And it was the only stuff that worked at first! I give to them about once a day or every other day.

Thanks everyone

I did a search on "Cat Milk" in the forum as well and saw there were a few "addicts" amongst us, so I'm going to try to reserve it to a once or twice a week thing. I am giving him a small amount... I'm using a dosing spoon that you'd typically use to give small children medicine (and my kids are way to old to use it anymore)... so he's only getting about 2-3 tablespoonds at a time.

The other question I had... The first day I gave it to him room temperature (since it was right off the shelf). But it needs to be refridgerated after it's opened. Tonight I gave it to him right out of the fridge and he lapped it right up. I know they are supposed to like things room temperature or even warm, but it there any harm in giving it to him cold if he seems to like it that way? I'm not sure how I'd warm it up since nuking it might may it too hot or spoil...

I don't think it will hurt him to drink it cold if he's too impatient to wait for it to warm up. You could probably nuke it for a few seconds, or add a teaspoon of hot water to it.

Um yeah, it gave Sui diarrhea too. I spent a few days literally holding my breath b/c of her generous donations to the litterbox.
