help with kitten!

My kitten is six months old and is displaying signs of meowing all the time and crawling with her rear end up in the air. Is this a sign that she is going through the changes of adult hood.i.e on heat. Please help as this is all new to me as I am a first time cat owner.

I am not an expert, but it sounds like she is in heat to me! Does she have her appointment for getting fixed soon?

Until then keep her indoors and away from any intact male cats. Some vets will not spay when the female is in heat, so check with the vet and be sure to tell them she is in heat.

I hope that you can get your little girl neutered soon! If, God forbid, she does mate, she can still be spayed, but the sooner the better. Even if she goes out of season, her heat will return sooner than anybody wants, so don't hesitate to call your vet. I'll keep checking your posts for updates!

and the first two days she was not so good she was in alot of pain but now she is back to herself...
