Reminds me, a young woman I know told me that the cats were the "last staw" which led to her divorce. She had five cats. Her husband had grown up as a dog-lover and never cared for cats. She allowed her cats to sleep with them, which he did not appreciate. The last straw was when one of her cats stepped in his mouth as he snored!
