Furrbachiona (aka Furr) was a rescue cat. She was a feral cat at a colony in Italy. The colony has an excellent program for taking care of feral cats. The vet thinks she had distemper as a kitten and lost her right eye. Her left eye developed a cataract well before we took her home (as best the people who fed the colony can remember it started 3 years ago). She has a little vision left for shapes according to the vet but is functionally blind. My wife has a way with animals and has tamed her down and made a very loveable cat out of her. She has gained six pounds in the year and half we have had Furr.

They are all beautiful Furr is a lucky girl to have you both.

Thank you but we are the lucky ones. The old girl is the sweetest and most grateful cat you would ever meet.

You are so right, they are spoiled, but then again so are the wife and kids and that well, makes me happy. The movies in the corner are a collection of their favorites. I know it is strange but certain videos settle them down at night (works with the kids too). It is pretty normal to see my daughters, my wife and the cats all asleep in the bed together.
