Help with Bella's Birth

Bella just had her fourth kitten. She has not expelled the afterbirth (15 minutes later). She is not in distress?? Is this unusual??

No, she is probably just exhausted. THis happed to one of mine once after her 6th. Give it a little more time!

I moved your post- she may have another kitten coming- if it gets to long though call your vet-

Sometimes they don't expel the afterbirth until a few days later. We have found this normal. If you are worried though do not hesitate to call your vet.
