I have one: A Grateful Dead Terrapin (a turtle) that's holding a tambourine with the Dead Stealie sign on it.

I want more too.
I want two hearts intertwined with my dad and my pop's name in each of them and the days of the births and deaths.

I also want a paw print and a purple peace sign with white flowers around it.

Those are the ones I have planned.. so far. lol

I have 7.
Thigh - little rabbit
Small of back - tribal design
R Arm - Tribal arm band with a little mustang above it
L Calf - Fire/EMS symbol (I designed myself)
L ankle - sm tribal design
R ankle - Black cat on a pumpkin
Hip - Black cat on a star

I am getting the Fire/EMS removed via laser surgery. I have about 3 more times to go and already have gone 3 times.
Here is the ankle one.... It's my favorite....

Yeah, I like the cat on the pumpkin... takes up your whole ankle!

How much is it costing for removal and is the tattoo coming off well? Any pain?

I need to get both of mine removed, but the cost and whether it's going to come off entirely is a concern (they're just black ink, so shouldn't be a problem).

Thanks! I love it. The colors don't look as bright in the pic, they are much better than it shows.
$350 per session!!! It's soooo expensive! It doesn't feel bad to me just a little uncomfortable but the place I go to said it's not normal for someone not to be feeling more pain. Most people put the numbing cream on first but heck, I've had so many tats done and other surgeries that I must have a high pain tolerance. I really don't think it's that bad though.
Yep, black is the easiest to get off. The colors that are mixed with white are the hardest.

i plan on starting my tatoo collection here soon... dont have any yet, but i want to get two cherries on a stem on the small of my back, a cross on my shoulderblade, air force wings on my right upper arm and a braclet design around one of my ankles, i havent decided on an exact style yet.... i got big plans huh
i will probably get one and decide it hurt to bad and not get another one...

okay, this is kinda weird, but i would love to have a small teardrop tatooed on my cheek... i wouldnt want to go through the trouble of always covering it up though for work, cuz i am sure it would be unacceptable...

the cat w/ scratched idea is super cute, i love it.... cant wait to see the pictures!
I have a black cat on my back too!

Here's 2 not-so-great pictures of my tattoos - taken with my camera phone - so quality is not at a premium, but convenience was.

I had planned to get a tattoo on my left thigh, to try to conceal a scar (burn)I got in a motorcycle accident years ago, but dropped the idea when the tattoo artist told me it might draw more attention to the scar, as the colors would be uneven. I'm glad about that now. A friend had the horrible experience of her kids (now 9 to 17) objecting to being seen on a beach with her because of her tattoos. She's had them removed, but it was painful, expensive, and not 100%.
I like the paws, though.

I like the paws! I've always wanted to get a tat - a bird or a cat - hubby would prefer me not though, as he dosen't like tat on women - he also wishes he never got his 3 tats. Besides I am allergic to pain!

Wow, Tricia. My friend has a pretty long scar on his ankle where he broke it and had to have surgery a few years ago. He decided that he wanted to get a tattoo of a zipper opening over the scar, but was told by more than one tattoo artist that they would not tattoo over a scar.

I only went to one, and I'm glad he was honest with me. The scar I have is pretty much a "smooth discoloration", that is fading with the years.

Anyone know why some people won't tattoo over a scar?

I'm worried if I have mine removed it's going to turn INTO a scar... and you'll still be able to see the outline, which I would still have to cover.

I have very sensitive skin and scar easily. I have a surgery scar from ages ago that's still pink!
