How long after a cat is pregnant can you definately feel and see kittens moving in there?

Delilah is 40-43 days along.. she now has a pretty noticable tummy on her.

Well, when my kittens mamma was preggy with her and her siblings, she started showing movement about a week before they were born. It looked like some sort of alien worm was inside her wiggling around XD So if the babies start wiggling noticably (not just alittle movement but constant wiggling) Then you most likely have a week left until the babies are born! On the internet it usually says 5 days though.

I think that she is feeling them flutter in there.. because everyonce and a while she will jump in her sleep and look around like what was that.

My Lexus did that too - she would be sleeping and then all of a sudden she would lift her head and turn around to look at her body as it moved. LOL I think it surprised her some and until she got used to the sensation, it would actually startle her.

HI. I am new here but I love this site !!
I just found out today that my little princess (LILO) is about 6 weeks along!!
Boy was I surprised. I am sooo excited and my 2 girls are too. Can't wait. I feel like a grandma waiting for her grandbabies to be born...LOL Silly huh?

Anyways...my question is .... Does everyone see the babies move or does it just depend on the cat? I would love to see that. Though I know it would be another 2 weeks atleast.
Thanks.

Since Delilah is a siamese mix she has short hair .. i cant wait to see little babies wiggling in there ... then to have some cutsies born here .. and *crosses my fingers* that the kittens are healthy and that Delilah has an easy delivery.

There have been some scary birth stories on here reciently .. makes me a little worried.

We have her on the premium quality kitten food i checked it carefully to make sure it had all it needed .. it is even taurine fortified .. i think all cat food is anymore since they found out what not having enough does to cats eyes .. but anyways since delilah is on it all the cats are *rme* .. they will not let me feed just her the food and she will not eat if i put her in a room by herself .. we tried that before when it was just her and Luna since Luna kept getting fatter and she kept getting skinnier .. turned out Luna had Dominated her so bad she was timid to go get food.. the addition of more cats and a puppy for Luna to "keep in lina" keeps that from happening now.
