Would you rather, sleep your weekend away, party your weekend away, work your weekend away or just hide from the weekend?

Does do absolutely nothing at all mean the same thing as hide the weekend away? If so, I choose that one

It depends.

If it's rainy & cold & cruddy outside and if my daughter isn't with me: sleeeeeep.

If there's something grand going on around town, like a festival or reason to celebrate: Party!

If it's really nice outside & I have a lot to do (like, this coming weekend), work every single minute there's daylight.

The hide away weekends are the same as the sleep weekends... except I cannot hide from my kitties.

None of the above.

I do want more sleep, but I don't want to sleep it away. I certainly enjoy a party, but I don't want that to the exclusion of all else. I certainly don't want to work the weekend away, though there are chores that need to happen then. Hide from it? Pass up an opportunity for a break from the 9-5? Not.

They missed at least one option: I want to slow down, relax, do some things that I don't have time for during the week, recharge my batteries. Maybe for some people recharging their batteries means sleeping all weekend or partying all weekend, but I need variety.

I love a good party, some sleep and like Fran there are chores that need to be done! Especially if you are a cat owner.

It is school holidays for me, so everyday for the next two weeks will be like a holiday to me!

Well I'd love to be able to do a mix of sleeping and partying but in reality it's the time of the week that I get caught up on all the chores and running I haven't gotten to during the week.

It sounds so either/or! I like a little of both too. If I totally sleep it away I get bummed i missed my weekend, HOWEVER I love my downtime-just read and hang out with Samster on my porch.

At the kitty's beck and call
*whispers so she doesn't wake Stephanie*

I wouldn't want to sleep (unlike Steph I get all the sleep I need) I like to enjoy my free time with the kits and the family. I like to have the freedom to do whatever I want - gardening, shopping with daughter, lazing around or out with hubby an friends.
