Well it's been raining here since yesterday
and i'm supposed to be out with friends tonight but i think i may stay in and chat to you all here on TCS?!.

I always go to meet them in a taxi so it's not as if i have to walk anywhere, but when i saw the rain lashing against Rosie and Sophies bedroom window this morning i so envied them

No one mention wine or going out or i may just change my mind!!

I can't wait to see all your hard work, Susie!
It's a shame it's too early to plant your flowers, maybe you could plant some summer flowering bulbs?!

I will certainly try to remember my camera, and will show you all the pictures!

Susan, the rain won't hurt you!
It might flatten your hair, but you'll still look good! If you're staying in, open a bottle and have a drink with everyone on TCS!

There's no place like home
This the best TGIF I've had in a loooooong time. Slept an extra hour. Planning on going into work late and leaving early (haven't had a day off in 2 weeks). The only meeting I have to attend at work is a get together with my team where I get to give one of my guys a $500 award for doing good work and we'll have cake and brownies. Getting my hair trimmed on the way home. It's payday and I already have my tax refund.

But best of all, this is the last day at work for 2 weeks. Heading out on vacation on Monday to Denver, where we are grabbing our friends and heading to Puerto Vallarta for 10 days. Ahhhhh.....10 days of laying on the beach and asking the wonderful hunky waiters to fetch me tropical drinks and quacamole.

I'm excited....my little brother is getting some big award from his college this weekend, so my mother and I are going to spend the weekend in the mountains of north GA with him. It'll be a GORGEOUS weekend up there and we are so proud of my little bro!

This weekend my plans are:

Tonight or this afternoon drop by the post office and drop by taxes off. I have been so bad this year and didn't get my state taxes done until yesterday.

Saturday I'm going to get my oil changed and my car cleaned out. My Dad changes my oil for me so this requires a hour and a half drive to where he likes to do it at but that's ok cause I get to hang out with some of my family.

Sunday church as usual then I'm meeting up with my cousin to let her start getting used to driving my car. We're going on a road tripin a couple of weeks and she drive a lot smaller of a car than I do.

All in all not a very exciting weekend.

I am glad I'm not one of the people who 'owe' today. I always get a refund and well the refund was gone before it even came in... it fell into my house's "debt pit".

This weekend for me will be the same as last weekend, only my daughter won't be there to help pull weeds. I have to cut more shrubs & hedges from my yard. Last weekend I tore out four 27-yr old shrubs and worked my buns off. Got all dirty & bloody and my carpal tunnel got REAL bad.

So this weekend I am going to aggravate my carpal tunnel sommore! I love to be outside! And although I know nothing about perennials annuals flowers or gardening, my neighbor surely does. All I know is how to cut things up, tear things out & then put soil & mulch down. But it's supposed to be a really beautiful weekend so I plan on working dawn til dusk on my dilapitated yard.

You like digging in the dirt? Wanna come over to my house?
I have been digging for the last 3 days. Weeding, redefining ONE flower bed (the yard was taking back over). I hope it was this bad because the previous owners didn't do weeding last year - this is a pain! I still have many more areas to do - it will take me weeks!

The flowers that are out though are pretty, and I can see other things popping up - hopefully I left the good flowers and pulled the weeds!

I am actually looking forward to Monday and going back to work - sitting on my tush behind a desk.

Darkeyedfirl, I miss Florence! I lived in Elsmere before I moved up here. Specifically I always like the mall: Florence Y'all.

Tomorrow, I work, well, sort of.....I get to go with mom to the flea market where she's selling decoration and memorial flowers. Hopefully will get to see this weeks catsite movie tomorrow night too! Sunday is church, rest, back to a different church where my pastor is running revival this week.....Probably wouldn't go but he asked me to come and sing for him at least one night....sigh.

I'm still claimed by my parents so they do my taxes, I can only assume that it was completed. Maybe I should check on that!!

This weekend is probably not going to be too exciting. Today I'll be spending some time with Brendan, teaching my Body Pump class, and working on a Project for one of my classes. Then Saturday I have to work at the visitation center early in the morning and then I'll be heading to the Greyhound Pets of America to volunteer until early afternoon. Then more Brendan time, then back to my apartment where I'll probably try to catch up on homework (last week of school is this coming week and finals are the following). Sunday I'll again be at the visitation center during the middle of the day, Brendan will come over once he gets off of work, and we'll watch Desparate Housewives like we do every Sunday night.
That's the extent of my thrilling weekend.

Last night was much more fun though! Me, my roommate Tiff, and my best friend Lauren went to watch Symphony Under the Stars at UCF right by our pretty reflection pond. It was really nice! We ended up running around doing different things all night long and had a blast.
Last night felt more like my weekend than the actual weekend will.
