Loving my beautiful baby girl
Sierra has never tried their food, Aimee, but we do order from them, got an order in today, infact. Usually get her Feliway refill and Drinkwell filters from them and today, as a special treat, their lovely merlot with pawprints throw!(ok, OT)

I would go with their food any day over Science Diet, and support your decision to change. Some people will not agree with the garlic included in the Drs Foster and Smith food, as it is known to cause Heinz-body anemia in cats. Have you considered Innova ? Sierra has eaten Natura for years, and I fully support and recommend their products.

I have been checking out the Innova Evo, but the debate has been that there is too much protien, I wasn't sure that is possible. I plan to discuss it with my boss today though.

I been thinking about using Innova Lite Dry/Canned for my overweight cat instead of the Hills WD. How long have you been using Innova? How do you purchase it? Mail order?

the food looks good as a whole I dont care for barely since its protien complex is identical (almost) to wheat and the garlic...

I do like Innova , the cats have had there canned and the dog tried it and the cat did try the dry at one pt...

Imho almost anything is better than the SD

i would not feed it because of the garlic, if you aren't familiar with why many avoid it, I'll list some article links for you. That aside, there is also the issue of the use of tomatoes - which are a member of the nightshade family and toxic for cats. That said, tomato *pomace* is used in a number of foods and I have fed foods with it.

Excellent foods to consider: California Natural Chicken & Rice, Felidae, PetGuard, Innova,Chicken Soup for the Cat Lover's Soul to name some.

I'd be very interested to hear what your boss says...my opinion at this point is that if you are not talking a senior kitty or a kitty with compromised kidneys, I don't think the per centage of protein is a real issue. But that's my amateur opinion

That is what he said, for a healthy animal the protein content shouldn't be an issue. I am thinking of trying a bag mixed in the the Nutro that my cats already get.
