Wrong House? What the......???

I just heard the front latch of the door on my porch, (inside door but not the inside-inside door) so I go to the front of the house, open the door and see a young blonde woman leaving my porch. I catch her eye just as she's turning around to close my porch door.

She smiles and says, "Wrong house. I was looking for 576" to which I reply, "This isn't 576."

"This isn't it." she says reassuring herself out loud. We smile and then she leaves. So...... she wasn't even close. My house is 584!
It's also clearly marked on the front of my house and even in the back alley it has numbers. How did she get the wrong house like that? She was all the way inside the porch opening the latch on the front door. I didn't find it scary or anything, just weird. LOL!
Don't people check the numbers on houses anymore?

LOL. That must be it. How many people are silly enough to try to get into the wrong house!!! I think Ryan should find the other house to see if they even LOOK alike!!!

That's okay Steph. I'm sure it must have ben an identical car, right? Now if you were like this young blonde that came to my door then it would be like you trying to get into a van or something!

Well maybe she was really disappointed after seeing me in my boxers because she didn't hang around, but she was almost gone when I caught her leaving anyway. I guess I could have invited her in for stew?
