Ok guys, I promised to put this in H&N so I could keep it updated in the proper area of the forum, lol! As many of you know, Bit is my just over year old tortie girl who is FeLv positive. Unlike her companion, Tigs, Bit is not doing too well at all lately, as a matter of fact, I'm very close to losing her, I'm afraid. BUT, due to the kindness of our very own Hope Express, my sweet, gentle girl may have gotten her "miracle in a can", literally! Yesterday I received a can of this wonderful Transfer factor that mzjazz2u has had an extreme amount of success with in her Jake, who has been very, very sick. I gave her the first dose last night, and to say the least, she was very, very perturbed with me about it! The Hope Express "thank you" thread is here, and I will update on Bit frequently here. Thanks so much guys, for all your help and support!

Hi there, I have recently joined the site and have been very concerned about Bit, as I have an fiv cat that i am afraid will go down the same road. I am so glad you have been given hope, and that you have so much support behind you. We can all only wish for the same. I wish you all the best, and look forward to positive updates.

Just keep telling her that it's to help make her better Cindy

When Sophie had a tummy upset and had her spay put back a week because of it, i had to give her meds by syringe to settle her tummy and i she hated it with a passion!

She only needed a weeks worth but had to have it twice a day, but she soon knew what was coming when she saw the box come out!

Cindy try giving it to her in sardine or mackeral oil- I have yet to meet a cat that turns down anything in that stinky stuff!
Wishing, hoping and praying for the best-

Phew! I finally got a minute to sit down and post an update for this morning. I know that Tammie said that she noticed a change in Jake pretty fast, but I was not expecting this! Bit actually came to me this morning when I fed the rest of the kits, and ate a wee bit!
She was also talking to me, more like her normal self
I swear that litle girl is a Meezer wannabe! But, if its a sign of improvement, I'll just be tickled pink!

Well!! That's pretty spiffy news!
Here's hoping it is an indication of improvement.

At the kitty's beck and call
Cindy I'm really hoping and sending all the positive vibes I can that Bit shows some improvement. I would second what MA says - try some mackerel or sardines to mix it with if you have a problem, Adelaide ate all four pieces of her broken up medication without a murmur when it was mixed in with fish.

Awww, Little Bit is adorable.
I sure hope the transfer factor helps her feel better. I've heard very good things about Transfer Factor. I will keep Little Bit in my thoughts and prayers.

*Sigh* Guys, keep those vibes coming that Bit can hold on until the TF gets a good hold on her. She's very weak this morning, still very, very ill......and I can't help but be afraid that I may lose her before it even has a chance to work much on her...
