Saw the thread on the sticky kitten eye...is a 2 week old kitten too young for anti biotic ointment? My runt (Bubba) is having this problem. All siblings eyes are open, but his need to be washed several times a day due to a white-ish crust. One vet said to wait on meds and one said it was ok. He's not sneezing, and the goop is not green (yet)...should I wait to treat? (Been about 4 days like this).

Too Young for Eye Ointment?

I would give it a day or so more, and watch carefully how this one gets into position for nursing, it sounds like the others may be pushing him around a bit.
We give kittens Triple Antibiotic eye ointment when they are like this. I don't think it is too young at all and I would put a little bit on before it gets worse. Still wash the eye with warm water first and wipe as much of the gunk off as you can. Then put the ointment on.
