Dan and Susan - it still brings a tear to my eye to see her plodding around quite happily, chasing snowflakes and playing with things in the garden. She has tremendous courage.

Oh that would be lovely - and I would dearly love it to happen. She's still too scared for that though - she loves to be fussed and will sit next to me; but being cuddled is a step too far at the moment.

The Vet thinks she's between 4 and 6 years. At some point she'd had a home because she had already been spayed.

mamie's mom is feral, and having a hard time finding a home. mamie was born outside but got taken to a shelter at five days, so she and her brother are totally socialized.

adelaide is so lucky to have found a wonderful home with you! and i LOVE her name.

Thank you so much. We named her after our house (the style is an Adelaide) as she chose our home and it has a pretty name we thought we'd give it to her too.

Aww Mamie is just beautiful. All of our kitties except Lily are rescue kitties - Tippy and Felicity both came from shelters. Tippy was 12 weeks and alone; she hadn't had contact with people and was not socialised; but Felicity was a snuggle-bunny.

I really hope Mamie's mom finds a furrever home - it is so hard for these poor kitties to find one.

You are a blessing to all cats. Adelaide is a very lucky girl. Her story is an example of how some feral cats can join loving homes and thrive.
