So, we just discovered that one of our precious cats has been chewing on wood.
We have three cats and couldn't figure out who was to blame. Well today I did! I turned around while sitting at the computer and there she was chewing on the bookshelf.
She has chewed the end of our coffee table, chewed the oak staircase and it needs to stop. My question is can you use bitter apple spray on the wood if you spray it on a cloth first and then wipe it on? I looked for the furniture cream online, but to no avail. Plus, do you have any other suggestions, before our furniture is full of kitten chew marks! UGH!

Thanks,

Your kitty could be suffering from a nutritional defieciency. There is information about an affliction called pica on several websites. All you need to do is google pica in cats and you will be led to several websites. Don't punish your cat (if you are) because the cat can't help doing this.
