As you all probably know, I have a bad knee problem....well, I have been recomended the name of a surgeon in the US that has done wonders with problem knees. The surgeon is called Scott. F. Dye.

My physiotherapist has recommended that I read a few papers that he has written to find out what he is about. I was wondering if any of you heard anything about his work or know of anywhere that I can find some of his writing? I have been googling all morning with no luck at all! I know that his location is California and that's about it!

If anyone knows of anything about him, his work or anything related, I would be grateful if you could let me know!

Thank you in advance!

He does Sports Medicine and/or Orthopaedic Surgery. I think he had MD after his name? (Masters Degree?!)

I know that he focuses on joints and especially knees.

Hope, I have just found out that he's in San Fransisco. Thank you for offering to help though!

Rigel, thank you for the wishes!

I don't know what do they place after doctor's names in England, but in the United States MD Means Medical Doctor. Essentially, that he's got a doctorate in medicine.

Sara, I'm sorry to hear about your knee.

I've never heard of this doctor, but I work for a medical association, and I'll see if any of the doctors I know in California know anything about him.

I was able to find his Website online. Here's a link: Scott Dye Site

It has his curriculum vitae, and a few of his publications, so it may be helpful to you.

MD is the US credential for a Medical Doctor. (I believe in the UK they use the initials MB.)

Thanks, Victor!

Thank you, Tari for the information, I will take a look at the site in a minute! It sounds like it could be useful!
Asking around would be helpful too!
