Bono involved in Canadian politics

I'm getting fed up with this cosy relationship that Bono has going with our Prime Minister, Paul Martin, and the fact that Bono is sticking his nose in our politics. The guy is NOT a Canadian citizen... he should focus his pop culture celebrity and influence in a country that could actually benefit/profit from it.

Have you heard that we are going to possible have another election in not months, but weeks?!

I can just see Bono trying to find a way to vote here as well

Here's an article... I think it's sleazy for Martin to allow a foreigner with celebrity status to cast their influence where it doesn't belong... while the average Canadian is left without the option to voice an opinion on such a matter.

Yep, I'm keeping up on it... Ash, have you heard about our Liberal sponsorship scandal? This is how much faith I have in our Liberal government. Not too mention I told people not to vote for our now Premier, Dalton McGuinty (more like McGuilty!).

Yeah, Ralphy has his own smiley... how fitting!

Actually, I though Avril Lavigne did more for the youth vote than Bono ever could. After all, isn't she a Canadian youth herself?!? Go figure.

I think I would like Bono a hell of a lot more if he would stay out of our politics, and make nice with politicians with a bit less sleaze factor than Martin.
