We harvested our walnut trees last week and stretched a net underneath the ceiling in our shop, piled the nuts on the net to dry out and then went about our business. Haven't been to the shop in days, and this morning, I went in and the floor is littered with cracked walnut shells. hee hee looks like a troop of either nocturnal squirrels or curious coons came in and had a walnut party. All that is left is to clean up. Just wish I could of seen the party in progress, that was a lot of nuts!

You need to set up surveilance cameras all over your place with all of the crazy stuff that happens there! Send the tapes in to Animal Planet and get rich quick!

That must have been a site!

Hissy,

I didn't know they HAD walnut trees in Oregon. Live and learn. You've got smart little critters there. They'll be set for the winter.

For months we've had an issue with raccoons and possums coming up to our house and eating our cat food. We finally started setting live traps asnd moving them
