Jesus, Moses and Virgin Mary dolls

Yeah, that's what I thought too.

And they TALK!

Might be a good idea, but I just don't think that every kid is going to play like Rod and Todd Flanders. I'm envisioning Jesus taking Barbie on a date, or a major battle between GI Joe vs. Jesus and Moses. Even as a non-Christian, that just seems so wrong...

It would have good applications for Sunday School teachers and devout believers, but I have a hard time with thinking this will go into mainstream America

You do not need something to go into mainstream to become a profitable venture. All you need is a group of people willing to spend money on religious items. I mean we have the smell of Jesus candles, where the couple sold about 10,000 each costing $18. Let us not forget the whole virgin mary on a piece of toast incident.

I can picture some people substituting Jesus and Mary for GI Joe and Barbie, and the kids screaming!

Okay... please do pardon me, anyone here who is christian and finds my humor offensive... not at all intended to offend...

But going back to my own childhood and thinking about what kids like to do with these "barbie" dolls... well um... I have these little scenarios in mind...

"Let's make Jesus get naked!"

"Moses is the daddy and Mary is the mommy..."

"ooooohhhhhh Jesus is kissing Barbie!!"

"Jesus is going on a date with Barbie and they are going to go in the pink convertible..."

What if the kids are caught doing inappropriate things with these dolls? What is the punishment? Does mommy and daddy merely say "we're not going to punish you sweety, you're just going to hell now..."

i think it's funny.and a good way to promote religion to children.

why stop at christianity? if they made multi-faith dolls i could see them becoming a big hit in schools

Religion is becoming such a marketing ploy gimick.
If I ascribed to one, I'd be greatly ashamed of this kind of thing.

But things being as they are, I am greatly amused.
