First Litter due this week

Im new to this forum, but i have gotten a lot of info from it. My 1 1/2 yr old kitten is having her first litter this week! Im really nervous, my boyfriend thinks im being dumb cause i want to be with her when she has her babies...he has her mom and older sister on his farm and they've had several litters, and thinks that cats dont need nay help, but his girls always have them when his sons are home.
But 63 days is the 15th, so friday on ill be a nervous wreck, my apartment is very small and theres no where bad she can go to have them....shes been going under my bed lots this weekend, so maybe shell try and have them in there....Im going home from work tonite and cleaning up and vacumn under there!

have you made her a birthing box yet? then that way yo can get to her if theres any problems. under the bed is a bit of a tight squeeze for a birthing cat plus a human!

she'll have them where she pleases regardless of any nice bed you'll make her

Hi, and good luck with the upcoming labor. I know I was a freak when my baby was getting close. I stayed home from my night class just to be here. They really dont need help, but its nice to be there just incase of an emergancy. I had to cut the cord for one of the babies. If you have any questions there are a lot of helpful people here.
