Hi All, New to your site. Have been hunting for a long time
for a place to indulge my love of all things cats.

I have Manx cats at home.....I was introduced to the breed about
12 years ago....and haven't been able to get enough of them since.

They have provided me with MANY giggles and purrrrs.

I work as a Vet Tech and I also do grooming.

My main peeve is that many of the graphics sites for cats have great graphics....but no tailess cats....

Sure you can erase the tail on a cat graphic and call it Manx...but there is a lot more to a Manx than no tail...

Thanks....ohhhhhhh your little ones are soooooo cute. How old are they?

One of my manxes (a male, almost 10 years) is my miracle. He had to have an amputation about 4 years ago. His recovery was nothing short of awe inspiring. 5 days after surgery, he caught a mouse. He was the driving force behind my long recovery from emergency surgery. Now if I could only get my other male to be as sweet. He is the neighborhood felon....an adolescent...he has a thing for kittens and is always going down the street to kidnap a kitten and bring it home. I've had to make him take the kitten back...LOL...complaining all the way....LOL...fuss fuss fuss.

He sure does...LOL...but it's when he begs for food for the kitten that it really gets pitiful...

Hi

Welcome to The Cat Site. Your cats sound absolutely charming! Can you post pictures of them?

My mother had a manx cat for almost 20 years. She named her Thumper. She was sweet and playful. A lovable cat in every way,

WOW...LOL...they could be related to my guys...they are practically identical....my two males have a little white medallion on the chest, and the females oddly enough do not. But that same beautiful, wonderful "Manxie" face. Thank you for sharing them with me.

Welcome to TCS! I was owned by a Manx for many years. He was so much of our lives that I looked for him to greet me at the door for years after he crossed. Max was grey with white paws/chest and a huge boy (18 pounds). What characters they are!! I would love another but my house is full of rescued critters.

HI!!!! welcome to the site. Im Ashley and I can say I love Manxes. I don't have a pure breed manx, but about 7-8 months ago I came across two part manx kittens when they were about 5 weeks old. I had fun raising the little one's. you can see in my siggy Tigger and Gizmo. Brother and sister. tigger is so shy of humans but prefers a cat friend. I would never get rid of them two. They are so amazing.

I hope you come to love this place

Ashley
