My cat sucks on my arm

MY SEVEN MONTH OLD CAT PEPPER SUCKS ON MY ARM. HE HAS BEEN DOING IT SINCE HE WAS A BABY! HE SNEAKS UP WHEN I AM SLEEPING AND WAKES ME UP FOR SUCKS! HE ALWAYS IS REALLY, REALLY NICE BEFORE HE SUCKS. HE COMES UP AND RUBS HIS MOUTH ON MY HANDS AND MY FACE AND GETS SPIT ALL OVER ME. I HAVE TOLD HIM NO A GAZILLION TIMES BUT HE DOESNT LISTEN. CAN YOU TELL ME WHY HE IS DOING THIS?

I assume for comfort and love. Other cat lovers have discussed this here - seems like a kitty behavior a lot of our furry friends have.
Maybe Pepper was seperated from his mom a little early, as well.

Hello. I have two kittens and the younger one always sucked on the older ones paw. I never knew why, but at the site I was told that she was taken away too soon from her mommy and she was. Now she doesnt do it anymore its been about a month and a half since. Hopefully its a once a year thing. good luck it might go away.

PEPPER STILL SUCKS. HE IS 8 AND A HALF MONTHS OLD NOW. MY KITTEN VADER SAW HIM SUCKING AND NOW HE SUCKS ON PEPPERS NIPPLES. THIS IS REALLY GROSS. MY CAT MIMI TRIES TO SUCK ON MY EYELID! I ONLY HAVE 2 CATS THAT DON'T SUCK. TWINKLES AND TIGGER NEVER SUCKED. I GOT TIGGER AND PEPPER AT THE SAME PET STORE(TIGGER IS A YEAR AND A HALF). I GOT PEPPER THIS JULY AND I GOT TIGGER ON EASTER LAST YEAR. THEY WERE BOTH 2 MONTHS OLD WHEN WE GOT THEM BUT TIGGER NEVER EVEN TRIED TO SUCK! I DON'T KNOW WHY HE DOES THIS. WE'VE STARTED TO LET HIM DO IT BECAUSE IF HE DOESN'T GET HIS SUCKS HE IS VERY CRANKY!

I had just got a cat 3 weeks ago from a friend she was a stray and they couldnt keep her she comes up to me to and i pet her then she gets all loveable and then sucks on my arn my eyes pretty much and piece of skin i havnt covered up already, so I looked this up and reading yuours im kinda happy now its normal and nothings wrong with her.

Bijou will be 2 yrs. old in April and he still has to have his suckle on my neck every night before he goes to sleep.
