My 9 year old cat twinkles won't stay on the carpet! We have had this problem for a couple of months now. Whenever you place her on the carpet she jumps up onto my lap,The couch and chair or anywhere she can. Could this problem be because she doesn't wan't to catch the fleas off of the carpet? We got some flea spray for the carpet to kill the eggs and she is not as bad but she really hates the carpet. Can you give me any suggestions on what to do? Thanks!

Cats love to lounge around in chairs and couches as well as a comfy human lap. Thats just natural cat behaviour. Why would she want to sit around on a carpet when theres a nice comfy spot to sit in instead?
Have you ever tried Advantage Flea Control for your kitty? You get it at the Vet's office. it comes in a little tube and you squirt it on the back of the cats neck. It keeps kitty flea-free for about a month. I think it would be good for everyone to gain control over the flea problem, flea infestations can make kitties pretty sick.

My thoughts exactly
I'm happiest with a lap full of warm, soft kitties. I get the distinct feeling the kitties are at their happiest then as well
