It's final... I'm MOVING!

I've done some serious thinking about this for a while, and have decided that this fast-paced lifestyle is just not for me anymore. Though I hate admitting it, I'm a small town girl (minus the nosiness! ), and have only lived in Toronto since 1998. I'm so tired of dealing with passive- aggressive people who don't say what they REALLY mean, and feeling an underlying tension amongst people in this city so thick you can cut it with a knife.

So, although small towns have their own problems (and I know them VERY well, having grown up in a village with the population of 1,200!), I've decided it's more my pace of living, especially now that I'm into my 30's. So, I've started looking at communities north of Toronto (where there is a lot of forest and lakes - not unlike BC!), and though it may take a few months to find my new home, it's now firmly in the works. Frankly, I don't have any family, and few close friends, so there's nothing holding me here. The only thing I have to worry about is relocating the little grey goblins!

As far as my job goes, I can't talk about it because I recently began a leave of absence, though I'm convinced everything will work out for the greater good.

I could really use, and would greatly appreciate some good, positive vibes, from anyone who would like to send them out... I certainly anticipate a change for the better.

Good luck! Where abouts are you looking? You're quite nearby to me already and I'm being nosy. I'll be moving soon, too, probably to Newmarket area (trying to find somewhere to move sooner rather than later because I'm having some roommate issues that I'd like to get the cats away from).

Just to respond to a few comments... Though I'd love to move back to Alberta, I have to think about moving Mik & Lex, and I don't know how the grey goblins will do... I'll definitely be moving north of Newmarket though, straight out of the GTA/suburbs and never looking back.

I need clean air to breathe! And having forest and lakes around will certainly help. And when I do move, I will definitely be getting something with a backyard/garden so I can take Mik out on a leash to work on the gardening with me!
