My house is almost done

Back in December I purchased my first home. It is being built from the ground up, and we are scheduled to settle at the end of June. This week the brick finally went up! I have been taken pictures since It was a plot of dirt, until now and I put together an image today of the progress. I wanted to share it with all of you.

Random Fact: When I move my new address will be on Beryl Terrace. Isn't that the greatest.

Looking good! I have to admit, at first glance I thought last three pics were like row houses in various stages of construction and I thought CRAP that last one is about to fall over!

Oh Beryl, you must be so excited!!! It's really coming along!! If I were you, I'd be doing driveby's everyday!!!

LOL Nope, just Brendan's crooked camera skills. Perhaps I should've spaced out the photos more.

Oooh! How exciting, it's looking great! So is all the brick up? What comes next? And which window is the one for my room for when I come visit?

well there is no siding on the house yet, no carpet or flooring, no appliances. Lots of stuff left to do.

Unfortunately those are the windows in the master bedroom and the great room. You're room faces the back. When are you coming to visit, eh?

Excellent job of fitting all the photos into the post. It looks like your house is sitting beside two unfinished neighbors homes. So, the terrace is getting named after you? Cool.

OMG - too funny about the name! That's great... and good luck with the building - it's looking great!

Actually, my dad was a carpenter and an architect. Not only did he design the blueprints to the house we lived in, he also built the whole thing with his own hands (only help had was putting up the drywall! ), including all the wiring, plumbing, roofing, etc. He was a working-class German immigrant, so you wouldn't expect anything less.

It's coming around tho!

Now will my room be decorate in pink? Maybe with some daisies? If you plan on cooking Thanksgiving dinner again, I'll come! Although I really want you to come dress shopping with me... that'd be better than going with my mom!
